PATRICK AND I ARE COMMITTED TO OUR MARRIAGE

PATRICK AND LASHON CAMPBELL

Every time that I look at my husband Patrick I am reminded of the past 22 years we have shared building our life together.

Through the good and bad times we have found a way through it all to commit to our marriage and still remain friends.

COMMIT TO YOUR MARRIAGE MIND, BODY AND SOUL

Sometimes many people forget to Pray for their marriage. In these times it is not only a past time it is a necessity to bring our Lord and Savior right in the center of the foundation that you and your husband has built together. You have to always pray not only for your marriage but also for others in your congregation, family and mentor circle.

You have to look beyond just the two of you and share your experiences with other couples so that your marriage can be a blessing to others.

That is why I am so very grateful for my husband Patrick who is committed to our marriage fully... I thank you father for showing Patrick how he can use his time, his resources, and his skills for God’s kingdom.

Patrick and I are:
Committed to our marriage
Committed to our children

We try every day to respect and to encourage one another.

Each day we figure out how we can serve the Lord and stay rooted in our faith, in our family and love one another.

That is why we make all of our decisions TOGETHER and we SUPPORT ONE ANOTHER.

Today when you look at your husband, look at him again and remember why you fell in love with him in the first place. Remember why you love and respect this man. And then..... Mutual respect and loving one another will become a daily event at your house...

LET'S BRIDGE THE GAP IN YOUR MARRIAGE TODAY AND PRESENT A UNITED SPIRITUAL FRONT .....

I would love to hear from you here at the blog. Send me an email, or leave a message in the comment section.

  2. Marriage is serious business and I have yet to meet a couple that did not have to work at their marriage every single day. Looks like you and your husband Patrick have made an attempt to keep talking things out. We found ourselves in therapy last year after a personal crisis..Without going into details, we were able to get our marriage back from sure divirce court. I prayed every chance I got, not to save my marriage, but to allow us to commit to one another first in order for our marriage to survive.
Honestly Lashon, I am still fighting, but I'm pretty tough. Your blog is something that helps me cope. Not that I am running from my problems, it just helps me to see things deifferently. Sometimes when you step back with a fresh perspective you can change things. Thats my goal...To change the state of my marriage. Thanks again for listening.

  4. Your journey, your testimony, your story, your words, THEY TOUCH ME. I am still not exactly sure why I feel compelled to tune in daily to your blog. What I do know is that you write from a very special place and your family feels like family. What a great blog. Keep it going...YOU GO GIRL!!!

  5. Thank you Father, As I start this day all I want to do is bring glory to you by honoring my husband, I ask you to be present in my marriage. Guide me to know in which things I should ask forgiveness, in which things I should change, and in which things I should ask for the grace to let go.... Show me new ways to respect Patrick and open my eyes to all that you have made him to be.... I trust in your goodness and in the covenant my husband and I made with you and each other 19 years ago.... In Jesus name I pray, Amen

God has blessed me with some WONDERFUL people in my life!

God has blessed me with WONDERFUL friends

Have you ever stopped for a moment and said a thank you to God for all the wonderful people that he has placed in your life. I truly believe that you should. At least remind yourself of these blessings as often as possible. God has really blessed me to know some WONDERFUL people in my life.

One of the GREATEST joys I have encountered in my military travels has been relationships that I have developed with friends. Most of the people who are in my life are military wives and they are all awesome in their own way. They have each touched my life and made it better in such a fantastic way. I really do mean that. I have such great memories of them.

Friendships of any kind are a gift from God. Having a friend that understands you and loves you makes your heart feel so full and their love is simply incomparable in my mind. I spend a lot of time sharing with my friends and letting them know just how important they ar…

Happy First birthday to the BEST GRANDSON ever....

I NEVER KNEW HOW MUCH LOVE MY HEART WOULD HOLD, UNTIL I BECAME A GRANDMOTHER FOR THE FIRST TIME....

Our family has been BLESSED with a NEW grandson. His name is Cameron and he is the most beautiful baby in the world. He has a smile that melts your heart and a laugh that is contagious. The first time I laid eyes on him, I loved him. I never knew how much love my heart could hold before our grandson was born.

We are about to celebrate his first birthday and we are excited about the AMAZING future for the newest member of the Campbell family. Look at that face....
I hold him in my arms and I remember when my own kids were small and full of wonder. Grand kids are such a blessing and I plan on spending as much time as I can spoiling this beautiful baby (Smile)

THIS WAS A PERFECT MOMENT IN TIME

We love our kids and we hold them close to our hearts, but these grand kids tug a little harder and they make you forget how to say no (Smile) Where is my brain today? Is that a good thing or am I just …

Ways to get some EXTRA CASH in your pockets

WE LOVE EXTRA CASH

I always say that I am going to have a garage sale. OK so maybe you have heard that once before. (I am a bit of a procrastinator) When I look around the garage there are tons of stuff that I could probably sale. Recently, the kids and I donated quite a bit of that stuff to the Salvation Army. I felt really good about that.

CHARITY

The Salvation Army is one of my favorite charities and I figured the stuff was just sitting around gathering dust. Giving back makes me feel better and I am teaching my kids how to save, volunteer, give back and honor God all at the same time. The reality is, we all can use some EXTRA CASH and the stuff laying around your house could be priceless to someone.

How much extra stuff do you have lying around the house that you never use? You could arrange the items and sell them at a Garage sale.

MAKE SOME MONEY

Before you know it, you can turn that extra stuff into cash. So today as you are going about your day, why no…

By growing my relationship with God and loving Him wholeheartedly, I have unintentionally grown to love myself as well!

MY CRAZY LIFE BLOG 2018
I am finding my way back to the woman I always knew I was! My name is Lashon and I am a 48 year old divorced mother of three. I was married for half of my life.  I tell you my story today with no regrets, no shame only love and compassion. A few years ago I changed and through my journey I learned a lot of tough lessons about myself and my relationship.  From the outside my marriage looked perfect.  Well, it really wasn't. I was not aware that my marriage was over, dead and virtually stagnant.

MY CRAZY LIFE BLOG 2018

With the help of a great psychologist, my church, my friends and through hard work I have changed. People change for many reasons but most are caused by two main events. The first reason that people change is by choice, their minds have opened and they simply want to evolve. They crave for something better. The second reason that people change is not by choice, their heart is broken so now what do you do? You have to accept change whether you want…

Hello and welcome back to my blog. So glad that you are able to stop by here and join me. Today I want to talk about having a simple exercise plan. Exercise is a very touchy subject when you get to my age.
I mean I wake up some mornings and this old body aches from head to toe. Can you relate? Although my pain is terrible sometimes, I am determined to keep this weight off. I am at a great size and I am finally moving around without getting out of breath. It really is no fun being sick and its no fun being in the hospital. that my friends is my absolute worst nightmare. So I am committed to exercising AT LEAST three times a week.
