PRAYER JOURNALS ARE A GOOD WAY TO BOND WITH YOUR KIDS
I PRAY FOR MY 3 CHILDREN DAILY
I also pray that my family will be able to focus daily on God. That my friends is easier said than done.... Especially today when our kids are finding other interests and slowly taking on their own identities. That is when I thought of a way to keep them connected to the bible... I decided to introduce to my kids the concept of writing down their feelings, concerns and joys in a journal.
Not just any journal. I wanted the journal to be a way for them to talk about God..I mean I encouraged Lyric and Patrick to make a prayer journal. I was so impressed by the dialog this suggestion alone created.
Starting this journal has made the children able to express their feelings better and allow them the chance to discuss their prayers.
Each day as we discuss the bible and discuss their journals I find them overjoyed and anxious about writing the next entry.
Through this journey of developing a prayer journal, we have continued to keep praying as a family.
WHAT WAYS HAVE YOU FOUND TO CONNECT YOUR KIDS WITH THE TEACHINGS OF THE BIBLE?
I would love to hear your stories....God Bless

All I can do is think about the positive things that this exercise will do for my children. By sitting down daily and writing in their journal, they will be giving thanks to God. What A blessing from God, and a reminder to be thankful....This is the first time we have tried to create a journal and this journey has been a fun-filled one.... Maybe today you and your kids can try to keep a Prayer Journal.... If God leads you to do so, He can use it to greatly bless you, and it will help our kids to be thankful to God for all the times that He has answered in their prayers.
