Those who wait for the LORD Will gain new strength.....

SLOWING DOWN AND TAKING IN EACH MOMENT WITH MY FAMILY

THOSE THAT WAIT FOR THE LORD WILL GAIN NEW STRENGTH

Recently I had a wonderful night talking with other military wives. Twice a month we gather and discuss ways of helping young military spouses. I always have a wonderful time in fellowship. That night I remember feeling grateful to be in the company of such wonderful women.

I MUST CONTINUE MY WALK WITH JESUS

Near the end of the evening, I sensed God telling me that this monthly meeting was one of the EXPENDABLE things in my life. But I must admit that the following day I felt really sad. For years, my women's group was such a POSITIVE experience for me. Over the years I have developed so many good friendships. BUT it takes away from our family time. So after much praying AND meditation, I realized that I could CONTINUE MY WALK with Jesus WITHOUT meeting the military wives twice a month.

THOSE THAT WAIT FOR THE LORD GAIN NEW STRENGTH

MY CRAZY LIFE AS A NAVY WIFE 2013

I pray that I made the RIGHT choice because the following morning there was a pit in my stomach about it...But now, I have such an incredible amount of PEACE. I want you to know that making hard choices is never easy...So I am saying a prayer for all of you going through this right now. Praying that He will make it crystal clear where He wants your energy to go, that you will hear and have no doubt in your mind what He requires because He will give you His peace even if the decisions are hard.(((hugs)))

MY CRAZY LIFE AS A NAVY WIFE 2013

Father, I pray that you would give PEACE to every ones heart and spirit. That you would speak to them about what their heart desires. Please allow them to hear your voice and know your direction. Father, I ask that you would just lay the path before them as they walk today and give them the faith in knowing that it is you, even if it feels otherwise. Give them strength Father and renew their spirit.

I would love to hear from you here at the blog. Send me an email, or leave a message in the comment section.

  1. When you start feeling bad about where you are...take a look back! You've come so far from where you were. It may be rough today, but tomorrow is filled with NEW promises, and a jump start towards the "hope and a future" (Jer 29:11) that's been planned for you.
