I CHOOSE to honor my husband Patrick, NOT because I am weak, BUT because I am strong

I HONOR MY HUSBAND DAILY

Some days it seems as if you have to FIGHT for what you believe in. I had a conversation with a fellow military wife that did not agree with any of my values or beliefs. She questioned the way I raised my kids, Called me "Prehistoric" when it came to marriage and then she called me so many negative adjectives (Smile) that I can not repeat here at this blog. Put it this way, She called me everything EXCEPT a child of God. Let me tell you, She was really angry at me. She desperately wanted me to change my point of view on "Submission in Marriage." What a day, What a day indeed! Look, We all have our own opinions and we will NEVER AGREE on ALL aspects of the bible.

Discussions like this are a great way to learn from others and further the kingdom. Listening is not necessarily agreeing but allows other people to share their voice....

Trying to change a persons position becomes absolutely fruitless when the other person just refuses to listen. WOW, It is a total waste of your precious time. I learned so many valuable lessons in my discussion with this military wife. One thing I know is I love being a wife and my views are my own. I am grateful to God that he has given me this platform to share my love for family, God and our beloved military. We can all disagree but it takes a person with great morals and humility to listen, respect and then respond. That is exactly what I did. I pray that you will do the same when faced with a similar situation.

I AM A PROUD NAVY WIFE
PARICK AND LASHON CAMBELL, FLORIDA 2014

I LOVE BEING HIS WIFE

As most of you know, I have been married for 22 years and my position is simple: As a wife, I CHOOSE to honor my husband Patrick. Not because I am weak, BUT because I am strong.
LASHON CAMPBELL, NAVY WIFE
I believe in my heart that when we as wives LOVE AND HONOR our husbands, It is one of the BEST WAYS to show them our love...I would love to hear some suggestions and ways that you show love to your spouse. Why not try it today and see if it works for your family. Each of us is different and what works for my family may not work for your family. What I do know is that LOVE is universal, So showing your spouse LOVE can NEVER bring negative results.

LASHON AND PATRICK CAMPBELL

My husband Patrick is not PERFECT but by showing him love and giving him honor every single day is my personal way of showing him just how much he is appreciated as head of our family. Showing him LOVE also is a great way for me to REMIND HIM of the man he is becoming. Day by day growing closer to God and being a great husband and father. I love being his wife and I show him how much every day.

Again, this is my choice and it will not work for everyone. I just know in my heart that A joyful marriage requires generous portions of both of us and I do my part to keep this marriage as an example for our children. I pray that you and your spouse are loving and respecting one another as a strong example for your own kids. Each of our marriage is DIFFERENT but our goals should always be the same.  God bless you all and stay in prayer.
