How do you deal with DIFFICULT PEOPLE?

I LOVE THE LORD AND THAT IS NO SECRET

This started out as a lovely day. I went for a walk and watched the sun rise. I felt great and this navy wife had a vast amount of POSITIVE energy....That was until I went to my Local grocery store. (It will remain anonymous) I went into the store to get things I needed for my dinner.

I looked everywhere but could not find the Gumbo seasoning that I always use. I asked the young Lady at the counter and I got such a RUDE response it left me speechless.

Oh, did I forget to tell you that it was only 8:00 in the morning. What was her problem? How do you DEAL with DIFFICULT people?

How can this worker possibly be having a bad day so early in the morning? I was at a loss for words and I did not ENGAGE in any negative exchanges with this young lady. Instead, I smiled and said a small prayer for her and immediately left the store. I decided to take my business and my HAPPY SMILE to another store in the area.

I love the Lord and I shout it loud for everyone to hear. Every now and then I come across people like the one I described to you that TEST my FAITH and test my patience. This young Lady was not very kind. Hopefully whatever was troubling her is now gone. All my friends and family know that I shake off ALL negativity and TRY to FOCUS on the good in all things. That is what I did. I prayed for that young Lady and turned the other cheek. What about you? Do you have a similar story that you would like to share?

I understand that it is in my best interest to love my enemies AND people that I may not particularly like. (Smile) This sounds difficult to some but it can be achieved. You simply have to find a way to block out the negativity. That negativity can cloud your sunny day and leave you in despair. SHAKE it off and continue having a fabulous day. Just remember to say a prayer. PRAY that God will help you to love that person the way HE loves them. It can be such a hard but NECESSARY prayer! So if someone tries to steal your joy this morning, shake it off and keep smiling. IT WORKED FOR ME!

LET YOUR SMILE CHANGE THE WORLD.

BUT DON'T LET THE WORLD CHANGE YOUR SMILE

AND THE GREATEST OF THESE...IS LOVE!

  1. I pray each morning that I will have a safe, happy and prosperous day. Along the way we sometimes encounter people with their own personal agenda and baggage. If you are not careful they will try to spew their ugly hatred and negativity right in your path...The devil is a Liar...Do not let anyone steal your joy or dim your light this morning. I will be praying for you.
