I spent the day with her and we did a lot of talking. the topic was self- worth and loving yourself. I was so glad to have this time alone with her and even more excited to talk with her about such important topics.  http://mycrazylifeasanavywife.blogspot.com/  I started the conversation off  talking about God and how much that God loves her.  I said to her,  "Lyric, God knew you before  you  were born. Regardless of their age, find ways to spend time with your kids   I have 3 children. I have a son that is 22 and he no longer lives at home with us. Arranging alone time with him is like pulling teeth. (Smile) I also have a 17 year old daughter that is about to leave soon for college. She loves me enough and tries to fit me in between going to the mall and talking on her cellphone. (Smile) Our youngest son Patrick is now 15 and enjoys lots of things. Getting him to spend time with his mama is tough. If it involves PlayStation 4, trumpets or Jazz, its cool. Anything else is really not going to interest him.   Regardless of their age, find ways to spend time with your kids  Oh my friends, but you have to be creative.
