Another request for a party and you are not sure if you should go or not. Like me, you probably are experiencing a little guilt when you want to go out on the town with your friends. I assure you there is a happy median to all of this. Trust me when I say that it is OK to have these feelings every now and then. You are only human. YES, You!

 Do you Remember when going out on the town and partying all night was the cool thing to do. Now you are a parent and you are desperately trying to find ways to celebrate more like a family. Having children may have slowed your partying down, but there are lots of fun ways to celebrate with your family.

When my kids were younger I would create fun games that I would share with the kids. Every holiday we would add a fun kids activity to put them in the midst of the celebration. For example, On New years we made a ball to drop in the Living room, For Earth day we did projects as a family and the list goes on and on. Changing your plans and making new family time with your kids will start out new traditions for your own family.
