My son Patrick is a senior at Douglas Anderson School of the Arts here in Jacksonville, Florida. He is always looking for ways to become a better jazz player and he got his chance recently when Delfeayo Marsalis the famous Trombonist visited Eugene Butler Middle School here in Jacksonville, Florida.

The Delfeayo Marsalis Youth Jazz Experience at Eugene Butler Middle School was a great way for my son Patrick to learn, grow and be surrounded by greatness! On Saturday, trombonist Delfeayo Marsalis hosted the Youth Jazz Experience at Eugene Butler Middle School and it was such a great success. The kids had a great time and lots of musicians came to support this great event.




MY CRAZY LIFE BLOG




It was really great to see how much my son Patrick smiled. Mr. Marsalis taught the kids about the importance of preserving the history of jazz and also instilled in them how important it is for their generation to work hard. It was such a great day and such a great performance. Both parents and the students enjoyed the festivities.
