I come from a family that has experienced sadness, divorce, depression and even addiction. I just want you all to know that you’re not alone in this world. Every single family in this world has flaws. So many of us complain about what we don’t have, but generally, our lives are pretty comfortable. I feel so blessed to have all that I have today. Its funny, I use to live in a beautiful 3,000 square foot home with a custom closet and all the THINGS that I thought were important. Wow, I live in a little 950 square foot apartment with my youngest son Patrick and I am happier than I have ever been in my life. My son Patrick said I smile more now than I ever have. That makes me feel so good. You see, things change, outlooks change and we grow and we learn.

I have found out what is really important in my life. There are just so many people that are praying for the very things we take for granted each day. Things like, food, shelter, health care, the basic necessities of life. These are the simple things that we need to make it on a daily basis. Do not get discouraged because God is working right now behind the scenes. I pray daily for those who need these simple things. Things are going to get better. Trust in God. During the hard times when we give up hope we just need to pray. Its tough but I believe that God uses these tough times to strengthen us and prepare us for what’s ahead. I am so grateful for all he has done.

The truth of the matter is that we are all  imperfect and greatly flawed. We’ve all made mistakes. I am just so grateful for all of my mistakes. We’ve all encountered failures.
