I remind my children each day to recognize their hard work and be proud of their achievements – no matter how big or how small! As parents we are always proud of the achievements of our children. That is true here in my household. I have three very different and very diverse children. First there is my son Elijah. Elijah is 25 years old. He is a talented artist, musician and works at Golden Coral. He has had trouble in his past but has fought really hard to get back on track. I am so proud of him. Then there is my daughter Lyric. She is 20 years old and is a junior at FAMU in Tallahassee.
She is smart, beautiful and wants to be a teacher. She has slowly grown into a phenomenal young woman. I am so proud of her as well. Finally there is my youngest son Patrick. He is a senior in high school here in Jacksonville. He attends Douglas Anderson School of the Arts and plays the trumpet. He is humble, caring and has become a fine young man that respects and loves his mama. I am so proud of him as well. Each one of my children are unique and each has made me proud over the years. Each accomplishment that they have achieved has been celebrated. I love and share in all of their hard work and in their accomplishments.

Being healthy and able to see them in their endeavors is quite important to me. When they were younger I went to all of their recitals, sports and academic assemblies. Wow, time has flown by. Now I listen to my son Elijah rap, Lyric talk about student government and Patrick playing his trumpet. Like I said, The three of them are totally different. (Smile)
All of them unique in their own way and each one has achieved such huge accomplishments. From Elijah getting his GED to Lyric getting on the Dean list to Patrick getting accepted into his favorite university FSU. These accomplishments are not just theirs, its OURS, it belongs to all of us as a family!

Supporting and loving these kids has brought me a tremendous amount of joy. Their success and their hard work reminds me that there is no ceiling to their greatness! As their mother, I will continue to pray for my children and support their every move. I can not wait to see how far they will go. WOW!!
I am so proud of each one of them. More than words can EVER say! Praying that their light will shine forever. What about you? Are you cheering for your children? What are some of the activities that you are supporting in their lives? I would love to hear from you right here in the comment section. Until then, I will be praying for you.
