Met somebody today that touched my heart and gave me a look at what PERFECT PEACE really was!

MY CRAZY LIFE BLOG
BY LASHON CAMPBELL

Last week I had another surgery that has kept me sidelined once again. Not being able to drive and get around without assistance has been quite difficult and has left me a little grouchy. Notice I said grouchy and not angry (Smile) I guess that I am exhibiting little or no patience because my children have pointed this fact out to me. I am in a lot of pain and have less patience than normal. I almost fell into that dark place of depression but kept on praying. Thank you father.
Today was my follow up appointment at Mayo Clinic here in Jacksonville and I met a little boy that had only one leg. Talk about putting things into its proper place. Seeing his amazing spirit and looking at his beautiful smile gave me so much joy. And even though this little boy has had an enormous amount of difficulties and obstacles, He still is happy and he is still smiling.

Seeing him interact with his family helped me that day. I was in so much pain and all I could do was feel sorry for myself. Oh my, I was having a pity party. I snapped out of it extremely fast when I saw this little boy, this angel. This phenomenal little boy and his family, chooses to live life to its fullest and enjoy each day as it comes.
What a blessing it was to meet these people at the perfect time. God is Amazing. It was all designed by him and us meeting was not by chance. So I just want to take a moment to share with you what I saw, heard and felt that day. I felt the love and grace of God in every word the little boy said. I saw a happy child and loving parents. And I heard so much laughter I could not help but be happy. I thank this young boy and his family for their courage and for their shining light. They gave me the tools I truly needed to see past this rough time. I could now see the sunshine that I almost missed.

All I can do is say Thank you father for this amazing journey. Thank you for putting people in my path that I needed to meet. There are so many wonderful things that have come from this last surgery. I have felt every emotion. I can’t possibly sum everything up in one post. But what I can do is express how grateful I feel to have had the opportunity to meet that special boy and his amazing family.
Now, being sidelined while I recover from surgery doesn't seem like a big deal after all. What about you? Have you met a person that walked into your life at the PERFECT time and the perfect season? I would love to hear about it here at the blog in the comment section. Until then, I will be praying for you.
