To my youngest son Patrick, As your mother I am your biggest fan. I have been to your concerts, cheered you on from the audience, And I have laughed and cried with you. My dear son, you are so humble and loving and I thank God for you.

Your patience is remarkable, your strength is from within, your wisdom is obtained from God and you walk this life with so much confidence. I am so proud of you. This is my attempt at showing you that you are so special to me. You are a loving and caring son and you shine in so many ways.

Each day I pray that your days ahead will be filled with love and blessings. When I look at you my son I can physically feel my heart swell. I never knew I could love this strong. It’s amazing. Man I love you my son!

You are so amazing to me...I cannot find the exact words to tell you that the entire family is so proud of what you have become through the years! As a parent we must always pray for our children. I pray that God will grant my son Patrick with overflowing joy, abundant opportunities, and a shower of blessings. Listening to him play his trumpet keeps me smiling. He is such a hard worker and seeing him get better and seeing his growth is truly a gift from God.

I sit in the audience and I yell his name. I sit and listen to him play on the edge of my seat. What a ride this has been. He not only is a great trumpet player, he is a great son as well.

I watch the way he loves his sister and his brother and its a great thing to witness as a mother. He's always polite and good to others. Always caring and he is supportive. I love the bond between my son and I. I just love him so much I can't believe he is 18 and a senior in high school already. I am very proud of him.

I dearly hope my son grows up to be who he wants to be, love who he wants to love. Without any fear or any shame. With his kind and caring heart, only the best is in store for him. What about you?
