It was my first encounter with this hospital and I did not know what to expect. I had to spend two weeks there and It was such a breathe of fresh air. Let me be the first to tell you that this  VA Hospital is awesome. I had my own room and was treated with dignity and respect in every area. MY CRAZY LIFE BLOG BY LASHON CAMPBELL MY CRAZY LIFE BLOG 2018 Every encounter that I had from my primary care doctors to specialty, dietary, housekeeping and even the volunteers has been exceptional. I was really scared being far away from home but the staff was phenomenal and the place runs so well. I was so impressed how the staff kept saying "Thank you for your Service" and how everyone enjoyed their job. What a blessing to be surrounded by so many people with smiles and compassion. MY

Today I wanted to talk about my youngest son Patrick. As you know he just finished the summer program at FSU and he is now headed back to Tallahassee. I am so excited and proud. I can not help but laugh (Smile) So now he is heading back to college next week. Most people would be sad but I am excited for him and all of the wonderful things that he is going to learn in this new chapter. I have talked with him, prayed with him and now I am sitting back and watching all those lessons manifest in this Amazing young man. He is strong and has a presence that commands your attention. Praying for all of us mothers out there who are struggling with the departure of their children. May God give us the wisdom to raise our kids well.  Our  God is greater than your current circumstances, struggles, pain, sadness, hurt, sickness, addiction, and sin. I am forever grateful!  Today I proclaim victory over my circumstances. Whether good or bad, I know my pain serves a purpose and I am being strengthened and my character is also being stretched so that I can be who God has called me to be. I truly believe everything is working together for my good. I sit here this morning and I Thank you for another day. God I ask that my spirit be renewed.
