Many years ago I started this blog to help military spouses who had husbands deployed. This blog has evolved from that. I am no longer a military spouse and my life has changed dramatically. For the better! I am feeling better, stronger and much more focused than I ever was. I walk, I meditate and I pray with so much PEACE. There is no negativity in my house or my life. I finally have a man that loves me. YES! He loves me. Flaws and all. He tells me he loves me and shows me without even trying. He loves me, he loves God and he takes such good care of my three kids.

I am no longer the wife of a military man. I am my own person and My self worth Was never defined by my marriage to him. I am strong. I am beautiful, I am a USN Veteran, a mother of three kids and a Certified Surgical Technologist. I have struggled and have had a series of highs and lows that attempted to break me to my core. I am back now stronger than ever and the bright light you see all over me was once dim but those days are over. I love this new me, A much stronger me and there is no looking back. Praying for all of you still fighting your battles. Your struggle will end soon and your own light will shine again!
