                                                         HAPPY NEW YEAR I can not believe that another year has past. I have learned a great deal of things this year. The main thing that I have learned is that my relationship with God is growing on a daily basis. I never really understood what “spiritual growth” meant until now. So many wonderful and mind blowing things were occurring around me and I did not recognize that God’s hands were all wrapped up in everything I did this year…. MY CRAZY LIFE AS A NAVY WIFE I did not see that he intervened and made things work out as they should. Every day as my faith was growing I saw everything so much clearer. I have often prayed that I would be able to understand things that were happening around me. Now I understand fully, I pray a little stronger and most importantly, I listen intently to every word that is spoken. So my most important lesson in spiritual growth is… Faith comes by hearing.... FORGIVENESS IS A GIFT YOU GIVE YOURSELF  Has someone you love hurt you or disappointed you? If you are like most of us, you have had your heart broken. The real issue here is if you have cleared your mind from past pain and moved on. HAVE YOU? I am here to tell you that holding on to those bitter feelings takes an enormous emotional and spiritual toll on you. LET GO pf the pain and move forward.  Forgiveness is a gift that you give yourself.  When you decide to LET GO, it will release you and free you from the shackles of your past.                                    PATRICK MADE ALL STATE BAND  Our youngest son Patrick plays the trumpet. He has always amazed us at his ability to blow those notes so gracefully. He recently competed against other band students in the state of Florida in two competitions. He competed in All-Distract band and was selected to participate.                                  WHAT EVER HAPPENED TO INTEGRITY This Navy wife has seen a lot in her 44 years, but this weekend I experienced something new. I was shopping in one of the local shopping centers here in the Jacksonville area. I left the store without incident and headed back to our house. When I got home and got ready to take the bags out of my car I noticed a series of large scratches down the side of my car. Now, I know how my car looked BEFORE  I went shopping. I also know that I was NOT in any traffic accidents, So how did these scratches get on my car? I will tell you, Someone in the parking lot of the Walmart hit my car while backing up. Instead of calling the police and letting me know that she hit my vehicle, This lady decided to get into her car and drive away. She drove away as if nothing happened.
