GIVE THANKS   Did you give thanks when you woke up this morning? If you opened your eyes and you took a breathe, then that is reason enough to GIVE THANKS. Father, we are just so thankful for you. We appreciate the love that you show us on a daily basis and our thanks flows in the words out of our mouth and through our actions.  GIVE THANKS      While searching the scriptures for a word of encouragement; God gave me Luke 6:47-49. Regardless of how I feel, when I trust God everything will be in my favor. I pray that you will find the words that will jump start your day. Above all be happy in all circumstances and give thanks in all you do (Smile) GIVE THANKS  Give thanks in doing the little things. Be sure and spend quality time with your family and friends this week and share with them how thankful you are for them in your life. Also, be sure and spend time with your Savior this week and tell Him how thankful you are for Him in your life.

We are the light of the world! Yes, All of us...Let us be the answer! Each one of us has a gift and a purpose. Do you know what yours is? If not, I ENCOURAGE you to seek God in prayer for the proper direction.  Take all of your questions to God in PRAYER and find the path that is destined for you. I have been praying lately that God will continue to surround me with people who love him and are not afraid to share that fire for him. I have been blessed and have met so many amazing women in this community.  I Thank you God for abundantly blessing me this year with so many FANTASTIC women on fire for Christ and who serve with ALL they are for YOU! As you head out this morning, Remember to ENCOURAGE YOUR CHILDREN... E very time I look at this picture I can remember that day so clearly..We had just got our house built and moved in. The kids were pretty excited and my oldest son asked lots of questions and wanted to know if he would ever be able to have a house.. That simple question turned into a lesson on encouraging my kids..They need to believe that NOTHING IS IMPOSSIBLE WITH GOD. we talked for over a hour on how hard work, dedication and faith in God would give them all the tools they needed to be anything and do anything that their little hearts desired. I am sitting here thinking back to that day and I can not help but shed tears on the innocence of our kids....PLEASE, Encourage your kds and let them know that they can reach God's potential for their lives as Christ strengthens them.  ENJOY THIS BEAUTIFUL DAY . DO YOU TALK TO YOUR KIDS ABOUT GOD This is the perfect season to explain God, our wonderful creator to our children. When my kids were younger I told them that God gave us His son, Jesus, because he loves us so much. It was not a quick lesson at all. The kids ages varied so we had to work out a language that worked for three very different little kids.  I began by reading the Christmas story from the Bible. My three kids loved to hear that story over and over again.  Some nights we had a power struggle between bible verses and The three Little Pigs (Smile)Through it all we found a healthy balance.  The Christmas Story is a great place to start when you are trying to expose your kids to the word of God. WHAT ARE YOU DOING TONIGHT FOR FAMILY TIME? Whether you are a stay at home mom, or you leave every day to a job outside of the home. I am certain that you are constantly trying to balance spending some family time with your children. I have found that as my three children are getting older it is harder and harder to spend quality time with them. I wanted to talk to them to see what their interests were and was shocked that some of the things that they once loved to do are no longer the "IN THING" to do. It's true, they grow so fast..... OH MY! It is a constant balancing act trying to spend time doing things with the kids and providing for your family.... With me, It seems I spend the majority of my time in my car...We are always driving from one practice to another or one competition to another.... I recently brought my concerns to my husband Patrick because I felt like the two youngest kids were always away from home. We developed some ve
