Listen, I Just dropped him off at college. Gonna miss him. Now this mama is crying like a baby.  Just another installment of being a mother. It was really a tough day. My handsome fella has been sick with the flu for the past three days. This strong manly man is fighting his sickness tooth and nail (Smile) I finally convinced him to let me take care of him. I am sitting here reading bible verses to him and stroking his head. I suddenly realized just how much I love this man. I know, he knows, God knows! I pulled out my phone and scrolled through some pictures of this strong man. It seems like a lifetime seeing him boarding the plane, working on the car and spending time with my kids. On days like today, My own faith gets tested. It is during times like this that I have to listen even closer to hear God's word!

MY CRAZY LIFE BLOG 2018 MY CRAZY LIFE BLOG 2018 I had a really busy day. Lots of running around with my son Elijah. He lost his backpack with all of his important stuff including his identification. I remember yelling at first telling him that he needed to be more responsible. I stopped quickly and remembered that I had been praying to God about my son. Praying to him asking him how to engage more patiently with my oldest son. It was then that I stepped back and let God lead me. I truly needed to be reminded that even though I didn't "feel" God at that very moment, It didn't mean that he was not there working it all out. Today I found myself in a place that I had prayed about so often. I started to feel discouraged and start to  doubt . It was at that very moment that I prayed again. This time asking God to reveal to me all the things that I  STILL  needed to learn. I am reminded today and everyday that I have to stay in preparation in my relationship with my

My son has safely checked in at FSU in Tallahassee. Praying and crying at the same time!

FSU COLLEGE 2018 MY CRAZY LIFE BLOG 2018 Good morning everyone and welcome back to my blog. So glad that you could join me here today once again. Today I just wanted to share that my youngest son Patrick has officially left Jacksonville for college. He is in Tallahassee and ready to start the summer bridge program. He has safely placed his feet at FSU in Tallahassee.  MY CRAZY LIFE BLOG 2018 MY CRAZY LIFE BLOG 2018 FSU college in Tallahassee is going to be the home for my youngest son Patrick for the next four years. An end to an amazing chapter at Douglas Anderson School of the Arts and the start of a brand new one begins with the Seminoles! Can’t wait to watch him walk into his destiny. We have been going through  Checklists and packing up his clothes making sure that he has everything he needs. Boy, this is tougher than I thought. Grateful that I am here and able to experience this moment up close and personal with my son. Thank you God for waking me up this m
