Thank You Father God for this glorious day! Allow our faith to withstand our fears!

Thank you Father God for this glorious day. Please allow our faith to withstand our fears. I pray this prayer almost everyday. Its one that comes in handy on those days when you are not really feeling your best. Its important to gather all of strength and fight until your breakthrough comes. I know for some those words do not mean much, but when you love and trust the Lord, you find a way to hold on to your faith.

After my last surgery I was sitting in the recovery room with Paul. He had to get to work. Bless his heart he sat with me for days in that hospital and did not want to leave me. He waited until I was out of harm's way and then finally let go of my hand. When he left I was awakened by a nurse to do my medications and to check my surgical wound. I believe in my heart that the Lord put the two of us in that room for a divine reason. He chose to use me that day to share…

Jesus you are the center of my joy. All that’s good and perfect comes from you. That is why I try to live my life the best way that I can each day.
That is why I love, support and encourage my three children everyday. I am happier than I have ever been in my life and I refuse to let anyone steal this never ending JOY.Never allow someone or something to swoop in and try to change you. Stay positive, stay happy and whatever you do, continue to show love.

No bitterness. You have to let God deal with the foolish behavior of others. And there will be people that will try to slither their way into your space. Their only goal is to break you down and steal your peace and joy.
Let those that harbor hatred leave just as quickly as they tried to enter. Close that door and close it fast. Don’t expect to have everything you want if you aren’t putting in work to get there. You have to live a l…

Hello and welcome back to my blog. As you know, I am the mother of three children. None of them are babies anymore and only one of them actually live at home.
My youngest son Patrick is a  senior in high school. Each time I have to head up to his school, I have a million topics and questions swarming around in my head. It  is nearing that time when I have to double check, fact check and make sure that everything that Patrick needs for his graduation is in order. that is why I scheduled a parent-teacher conference at this school.

When it is time for you go to a parent-teacher conference, both parents and teachers want the same thing. They both want to do whats best for the child. I had a great day with his counselor and one of his teachers. Over the years I have been to many meetings and many conferences.
I have finally realized that everyone needs to keep the child's best interest in mind. If all of you keep that goal in mind then parent-teacher …

Hello all and welcome back to my blog. Today I wanted to write a post about my youngest son Patrick. As you know, he plays the Trumpet at his high school Douglas Anderson School of the Arts here in Jacksonville. He loves his school and he loves playing his trumpet. More than all of everything he loves Jazz music the most.
Recently he and other students had the honor of meeting and playing with Internationally known Jazz saxophonist and Grammy winner, Ernie Watts. Ernie Watts came up to the school to teach a masterclass and to perform with the students. He would be there for a total of two days. On the first day he taught a wonderful master class to the Jazz Ensemble 1 class. In that class with his eyes wide open was my youngest son Patrick. He talked about Ernie for days and was more than excited to get to meet him.
