Good morning everyone. This post was written a couple of years ago but was brought back simply to really my testimony. It is simply a piece of the puzzle that our military family calls deployment. Read through it and I pray that you will be inspired. God bless you all.

TRUST THAT GOD CAN PULL YOU THROUGH THE STORM
I really had a rough day yesterday. My husband flew out of town, I twisted my ankle, I had a lot of running around to do and It seemed I just could not get a handle on things..... Before I knew it I was late picking up my son, then I forgot my debit card for the grocery store and I realized that my beloved dog Wheezy had not been put outside before I left the house!! WOW!!!

That's when I pulled my car over and sat still for a minute. I prayed quickly so that I could get a handle on my situation. Has that ever happened to you? You find yourself rushing through your day and then you realize that you are forgetting things, making mistakes and not being PRESENT in the moment.






 I THINK I BETTER SLOW DOWN....

THEN I STOPPED....
I caught myself and STOOD STILL and gathered myself......



When we find ourselves in a position like that you have to slow down and get your bearings quickly.


Say to yourself:

FATHER GOD, I TRUST YOU AND I KNOW THAT YOU ARE WORKING BEHIND THE SCENES AND ITS OK FOR ME TO SLOW DOWN.......



I remember each minute of the day yesterday so clearly...I would have lost it all if I did not allow him to work it for the better.....
I feel so much SMARTER now and I see things more clearly today because I made it through that storm yesterday wiser than ever......... So if you find yourself in a similar position today...


STOP, say this prayer and get back on track.

Father God, I want to thank you for giving me some much needed peace in all of this madness. I choose to STOP RIGHT NOW and hold my peace knowing that You are working behind the scenes.




I trust You, I trust Your timing, and I trust that you are always working behind the scenes because you love me.
