Today I want for you to ENCOURAGE everyone you meet! SMILE and spread hope and light wherever you go because everyone can use a positive word. Don't you agree? I see so many people suffering and so many people who are going through some form of depression. Most of the time people who feel depressed won’t be crying or shouting for help, we have to ask people how they are doing and lend a helping hand.

That’s why we need to try and encourage people to talk about what may be troubling them. Reach out and say "How are you today?" That way we will let them know that we care. Depression is real. Sadness is real. Anxiety is real. Give them a lift today. Encourage them and give them a reason to smile. Whatever you do, don’t turn your back on people that are facing these difficult times. It is during these hard times when they need a friend the most. Just support and encourage them. You just may save their life. When you encounter someone who looks sad, smile at them, compliment them, encourage them, share your story with them, let them know that they matter and you care about how they are doing.

I have always tried to do my best in encouraging others. We can all do our part to make others feel better. We should always lift people up. It really feels good to surround yourself with positive people. Try to avoid people who bring you misery, disturb your peace and don't allow you to be yourself. Instead, surround yourself with those who support, encourage and motivate you.

2017 was a difficulty year and I stayed in prayer. I prayed that I would meet new people that would inspire me, encourage me to be smarter, enable me to make bigger moves and be a better person. Only three weeks though January and it’s happening already on different levels. Each morning I say a prayer and wake with gratitude. I realize now more than ever that today will never come again. That is why I try to be a blessing and encourage people. When you get up each day, let your words heal, and not wound. We may all fall short sometimes and stumble, but it is imperative that we are always thankful. Build a better relationship with your inner self. Your inner conversation, thoughts, and feelings influence everything you do. Be kind to yourself and others.
