ANOTHER PCS MOVE......TIME TO SAY GOODBYE TO FLORIDA

As most of you know…I have decided to join my husband Master chief Campbell in Guantanamo Bay Cuba as he prepares for this final chapter of serving 20 years in the United States Navy….Its been really hard trying to manage two different households and still maintain a level of sanity while my husband has been so far away. In all my years active duty in the Navy and for all the years I have been a dedicated Navy wife to my husband, I have had no regrets.. Each stop along the way has made me the wife, the mother and the person that I am today.

Having each other every day is a blessing

So I have packed up my family, gave my beloved bird a new home and said goodbye to my comfortable house in Florida and brought my FAMILY TOGETHER AS ONE as we step together into the future…My love for my family has influenced how I feel and the way that I treat others around me. Anybody that REALLY KNOWS ME, understands there was no other choice......

I woke up this morning and I realized that I have never been happier in my life…Walking hand in hand on the beach with my husband, watching the sun rise and the sunset…
I love you Patrick

Watching my kids run around with their father and sitting down to a meal together are the things that matter the most to me…Thank you JESUS…

When I am with my family here in Cuba, I no longer spend my time picking up the phone to check a status, a email or a text message. I don’t run to answer the telephone because my focus is on spending this time with my family…..This is a different reality…I am so grateful that God has opened my eyes to see that everything I need, want, desire or long for is within my reach….

From this day forward, I will go back to the basics.. MIND BODY AND SOUL….I am very comfortable now being who I am meant to be and I want to thank all my friends who have encouraged me to take this journey. THANKS to all of my devoted friends who have held me close when I needed comfort and for all the people who have helped me to grow…..

I know people come into your life for a reason and not all of them will remain, but I have met some wonderful people in my travels around the world and here on face book.
These are special memories that will last a lifetime

So I say farewell Florida and HELLO to falling asleep in my husband’s arms and to waking up everyday to the sound of PEACE. I am so excited about having this peaceful journey with my family in Cuba.
