PAUSE, REFLECT AND PRAY TODAY.................

SEPT 11.....AT 8:46 a.m.....PLEASE HAVE A MOMENT OF SILENCE TODAY FOR PRAYER, FOR CONTEMPLATION, FOR MEDITATION AND ALSO FOR REFLECTION. LET US HONOR THE MEMORIES OF THE VICTIMS AND HEROES OF THAT DAY...FOR THOSE OF US WHO DISPLAY THE AMERICAN FLAG PLEASE REMEMBER THAT THE FLAG SHOULD BE HOISTED FIRST TO THE PEAK FOR AN INSTANT AND THEN LOWERED TO THE HALF-MAST POSITION...LET'S EMBRACE OUR PATRIOTIC SPIRIT TODAY.

Let's take a moment today to say a prayer for all the people who died on SEPTEMBER 11, 2001. I pray that we as a nation has grown and learned some valuable lessons about HUMANITY, about LOVE and about HOPE. The images of that day are pierced in our memory and I pray that in time we will replace those images with the hope that tomorrow brings............ Fear of terror seems to be ruling..... but GOD ASSURES US THAT THIS TO SHALL PASS. Fear not for God will cast out all fear and because we know this and and because we feel this in our heart we can continue to live each day with HOPE.

We have to focus now on telling those we love how we feel and we have to REMEMBER THE SMALL THINGS that so many people take for granted....... Did you kiss your husband before he left for work this morning? Did you tell your kids you loved them when you dropped them off for school? No matter how small you think the gesture may be....Remember that TOMORROW IS NOT PROMISED so make today a memorable one...With No regrets.

We cannot change yesterday but each and every one of us has the power to live today with new energy and new determination. Let's not let the tragedy of 9/11 drive us away from God, instead LET'S TURN TO GOD IN PRAYER. Let's stop right now and PAUSE...REFLECT...AND PRAY.
