OCTOBER IS BREAST CANCER AWARENESS MONTH
OCTOBER IS BREAST CANCER AWARENESS MONTH...A great organization...The National Breast Cancer Foundation has been saving lives of women all over the world.
They save lives by increasing awareness of breast cancer through education and by providing mammograms for those in need.
LETS REMEMBER THAT OCTOBER IS ALL ABOUT THE PINK.....We all have a mother, a sister, a friend or ourselves that fight this battle every single day.
I urge everyone who reads this today to have a mammogram done NOW!!
I HAD MY FIRST MAMMOGRAM AT THE AGE OF 37
...Every October I CELEBRATE AND EVERY OCTOBER I GET MY MAMMOGRAM.
SO DON'T JUST WEAR YOUR PINK THIS MONTH, GO GET A MAMMOGRAM IF YOU HAVEN'T ALREADY HAD ONE...
It is time to EDUCATE YOURSELF ON PREVENTION, EARLY DETECTION AND SCREENINGS. Because EDUCATION IS EMPOWERMENT.....
I know that it is scary, so take a friend or loved one with you. Let them hold your hand and guide you through this process..You should have a physical every year.
If any unusual symptoms or changes in your breasts occur before your scheduled visit, do not hesitate to see the doctor immediately.
Let's start saving lives today.
