ITS BASEBALL TIME...TIME FOR MY SON TO FIND HIS CONFIDENCE ONCE AGAIN


WE LOVE BASEBALL AROUND OUR HOUSE AND OUR 12 YEAR OLD SON PATRICK HAS STARTED PLAYING AGAIN.

THIS YEAR HE IS PLAYING IN THE POSITION OF CATCHER..... THIS IS THE FIRST TIME THAT HE IS PLAYING THAT POSITION AND HE HAS SOME RESERVATIONS....


                                                                                                                                                 



HIS FATHER AND
I SAT HIM DOWN AND TOLD HIM THAT WE HAD















COMPLETE CONFIDENCE IN HIM.


 CONFIDENT THAT HE COULD BE A WONDERFUL CATCHER FOR THE TEAM. HE WAS STILL UNEASY SO WE EXPLAINED THE IMPORTANCE OF TRYING DIFFERENT THINGS AND GIVING IT YOUR ALL.

FOR DAYS HE WENT OUT AND PRACTICED CATCHING AND THROWING WITH HIS FATHER.





WITH EACH DAY HE SEEMED TO RELAX MORE AND MORE. HE IS SUCH A CONFIDENT CHILD, BUT THIS NEW CHALLENGE WAS CAUSING HIM TO GO INTO A SHELL...






THE LESSON HERE IS THAT WE CAN NOT ALWAYS STAY IN OUR COMFORT ZONE.


 SOME EXPERIENCES WILL CHALLENGE YOU BUT YOU WILL NEVER KNOW IF YOU CAN ACCOMPLISH THE TASK, IF YOU DON'T AT LEAST TRY...



NOW A MONTH LATER PATRICK IS REALLY ENJOYING HIS NEW POSITION & HIS NEW CONFIDENCE


MAYBE YOU NEED A EXTRA PUSH TO TRY SOMETHING NEW TODAY.....


YOU WILL NEVER KNOW IF YOU CAN DO IT, UNLESS YOU GIVE IT A TRY

    Hello Everyone, Through this experience we have taught our son Patrick how to make this Baseball experience enjoyable…Daily we stressed the importance of team play, the importance of following through with whatever you start and told him over and over just how proud we were of him... Hope that each of you will have a wonderful weekend...
