ANOTHER SCHOOL YEAR APPROACHES....ARE YOUR KIDS READY?

GETTING READY FOR ANOTHER SCHOOL YEAR

Can you believe its August already? It’s that time of year again..Its time to get the kids ready mentally and physically to make the transition from playing video games all summer to paying attention in class. GOOD LUCK parents. (smile)

The beginning of the school year is a special time at our house. Mainly because each one of our children has their own idea of how the year is going to play out.....I LAUGH OUT LOUD. How quickly that will change. New friends, new teachers and to make matters worse, this year we are at a new duty station. This is added anxiety. Or maybe I should say it COULD BE added anxiety...

It is important to get the kids prepared for this new school year. It begins with the parents having a positive attitude and calming the kids so that they will approach this new school year with no reservations. Remember that our kids can pick up on our negative attitudes.

So let's start fresh this year with NO CHAOS, NO ATTITUDES and a positive outlook....

BACK TO SCHOOL TIPS:

* Work on developing self-confidence and independence in your children.
* Always teach your children to go to school prepared.
* Develop good study habits with them NOW.
* Make sure they get enough sleep each night.
* Ensure that they eat a healthy breakfast each morning.

Have a wonderful school year everyone.

    1. Good afternoon "Anonymous" and thanks for asking your question! Here it is: I have 3 children. My oldest is a boy and his name is Elijah and he is 20 years old. He no longer lives here at our house... We truly miss his presence around the house.(sad face) Next I have a 15 year old daughter whose name is Lyric...And Finally the baby is a boy. His name is Patrick and he is about to turn 13 in less than two months.
My children mean everything to me and I am so proud to be their mother....
