EXTERNAL BEAUTY...HOW IMPORTANT IS IT REALLY?

HOW IMPORTANT IS EXTERNAL BEAUTY....

I have a 15 year old daughter. Her name is Lyric and she is slowly becoming a young woman..I have learned that my actions and my words are watched ever so closely by this beautiful young woman. She is so attentive and inquisitive.

MY DAUGHTER LYRIC AGE 15

Lyric asks lots of questions and her eagerness has always made me cautious of every word that comes out of my mouth.

 HOW IMPORTANT IS EXTERNAL BEAUTY....

I tell her often how beautiful she is... I tell her that External beauty is not all it appears to be. It’s good to be attractive. But, what of the beauty and attractiveness on the inner heart?

ME AND MY DAUGHTER LYRIC
All too often, people pay too much attention to the exterior while neglecting that which is most important to God—the interior!
Beauty begins on the inside..

HOW IMPORTANT IS EXTERNAL BEAUTY....

Today, Find a reason to be JOYFUL! Even though you may be facing imperfect circumstances RIGHT NOW, don’t let anything OR anyone steal your joy today. INSTEAD, Focus on all the BLESSINGS you do have AND the fact that you are loved by God.

When you get up day after day and REJOICE, the joy of the Lord will continuously flow in your life (smile)

  2. Go girl! What a profound post. My dear sister Lashon, you are so “anointed”. Thank you for allowing God to touch and agree through you what we all want to say! I appreciate you and I am so moved by this post…speechless!
