GET YOUR CHILD READY MENTALLY AND PHYSICALLY FOR THE BEST SCHOOL YEAR EVER
Can you believe its August already? It’s that time of year again..Its time to get the kids ready mentally and physically to make the transition from playing video games all summer to paying attention in class. GOOD LUCK parents. (smile)
The beginning of the school year is a special time at our house. Mainly because each one of our children has their own idea of how the year is going to play out.....I LAUGH OUT LOUD. How quickly that will change. New friends, new teachers and to make matters worse, this year we are at a new duty station. This is added anxeity. Or maybe I should say it COULD BE added anxiety...It is important to get the kids prepared for this new school year. It begins with the parents having a positive attitude and calming the kids so that they will approach this new school year with no reservations. Remember that our kids can pick up on our negative attitudes. So let's start fresh this year with NO CHAOS, NO ATTITUDES and a positive outlook. Have a wonderful school year everyone.
BACK TO SCHOOL TIPS:
* Work on developing self-confidence and independence in your children.
* Always teach your children to go to school prepared.
* Develop good study habits with them NOW.
* Make sure they get enough sleep each night.
* Ensure that they eat a healthy breakfast each morning.

My kids go back at the end of the month. We went shopping and got all their supplies. I saved a lot this year because I stocked up way ahead of time before the prices got raised!

Its me Brittany again, Loving this blog and all that it has. the transition seems to be working, often kids tend to close up, shut down and hold in their feelings. so glad your kids are talking to you and sharing in this new move. The blessing here is that they are fitting in just fine. May God continue to bless your beautiful Family.
