What ever happened to HONESTY, INTEGRITY and CHARACTER?

                                 WHAT EVER HAPPENED TO INTEGRITY

This Navy wife has seen a lot in her 44 years, but this weekend I experienced something new. I was shopping in one of the local shopping centers here in the Jacksonville area. I left the store without incident and headed back to our house. When I got home and got ready to take the bags out of my car I noticed a series of large scratches down the side of my car. Now, I know how my car looked BEFORE I went shopping. I also know that I was NOT in any traffic accidents, So how did these scratches get on my car? I will tell you, Someone in the parking lot of the Walmart hit my car while backing up.

Instead of calling the police and letting me know that she hit my vehicle, This lady decided to get into her car and drive away. She drove away as if nothing happened. I know that you are wondering how I found out all of this information. Well, I went back to Walmart and the manager was awesome. He allowed me and security to view the store security footage for the parking lot. I admit It was a fuzzy mess but we were able to see the make of the car. All three of us was absolutely SHOCKED to see a hit and run! No joke....We saw this lady leave the store, hit my car, look around to see if anyone was looking and then haul it out of the parking lot like she was a race car driver.... CAN YOU BELIEVE IT?

The manager apologized but sadly there was nothing that he could do for me. I thanked him for his time and concern. Can you believe it?

Has anything like this ever happened to any of you. If so, Please share your experience here with us. Now if this would of happened to anyone else, I guess it would be somewhat comical. But I found no humor in this. NONE AT ALL.

EVERYTHING WE SAY OR DO IN LIFE IS A CHOICE

                              MAKE THE RIGHT CHOICES

                                                             MAKE THE RIGHT CHOICES

A person with NO INTEGRITY fled the scene of a accident and left with no concern for me or my car. I guess I am a bit old-fashioned and doing something of this nature is past comprehension. I want you to know that I had a wonderful grandmother who would ALWAYS emphasize the importance of INTEGRITY. It is days like today that I wish that she was still here with me. Sharing stories like this would definitely make her smile....Now as a mother and a wife I carry those lessons with me. My kids are fortunate that they have two old school parents who value kindness and goodwill. I pray that these lessons will stay with all of them.....
The reality is no one got hurt and minimal damage was done to my old car. I am grateful that no one was hit as this lady left the parking lot in such a hurry. I pray that no one else was hurt that evening and maybe her experience hitting my car shook her up enough where she went home, prayed and re-grouped.

SO GLAD I TAUGHT MY KIDS THE FUNDAMENTALS SO THAT THEY WILL NOT GO OUT CAUSE DAMAGE AND FLEE THE SCENE OF AN ACCIDENT.........

In conclusion,  I never got the car fixed. As I said before it was just a few scratches. I do not pay a car note and I love my little Acura. I am a simple girl and as long as the car is moving and the radio plays my gospel music, I am happy. BE BLESSED!
