MY DAUGHTER LYRIC MAKES ME PROUD 


My daughter Lyric was recently inducted into the NATIONAL HONOR SOCIETY. Since we moved back to the states, she has worked extremely hard in school and helping out in the community. It really makes me proud to see her develop into a young woman. At the age of 16 she is constantly shocking me with everything she touches. She has always been shy and reserved so we were shocked to see how she has unleashed her sparkling personality.

IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR HER.....SHE IS EITHER READING A BOOK OR DOING HOMEWORK....... 

This is her junior year in high school and since she has so many AP classes, I really was not sure how she would do. You see, Lyric puts a lot of pressure on herself. We never say you HAVE TO get all A's or anything like that. We do however, push all of our children so that can find and develop their strengths. Who knew just how strong our little Lyric would become.

Membership in the National Honor Society (NHS) is based on a student’s fulfillment of four requirements. Members of the junior and senior class who meet all four requirements and complete an application are admitted to the National Honor Society. Our Lyric was selected.


The four basic requirements for membership are scholarship, leadership, service, and character.

We are so proud that Lyric has done over and beyond all that was expected of her and she continues to donate her time by volunteering and tutoring. Thankful to God that our daughter is on the path to greatness. All praises to God for allowing us to raise this beautiful and intelligent young woman.
