Be encouraged today......

BE ENCOURAGED TODAY

Today I went for a walk. During my walk, I met a grandmother who out of the blue described the troubles that she was experiencing in her life...A little weird at first but it slowly began to make sense... Her husband had recently died, her house was in foreclosure and her faith was at a all-time low... She told me that she woke up each day and went to bed each night WEARY!

BE ENCOURAGED

                  BE ENCOURAGED

Can you imagine the heartache that she was feeling? I saw the pain in her eyes as she described her life journey. I sat for a moment and contemplated what to say to her and then before I knew it, the words just came flowing from my mouth....THANK YOU FATHER for touching my heart at that very moment and for giving me the words that spoke to her heart....

I said to the lady, "Sometimes we grow weary waiting for the Lord to answer our prayers. It is normal to feel hopeless. But there is a reason that you are here right now with me. Do not let the troubles that you are facing erase the FAITH that you have in God. He hears your prayers." With that, she began to cry....

HAVE FAITH

HAVE FAITH

HAVE FAITH

She kept telling me that her Faith was gone. If you are going through your own battle like this lady, you have to hold on just a little bit longer. Sometimes we wonder if He has even heard us, but be encouraged today. He loves you and he hears you.

~ HE HEARS YOUR PRAYERS ~

The Bible says ..."For since the world began, no ear has heard, and no eye has seen a God like you, who works for those who wait for him!" [Isaiah 64:4] hold on to that verse as you step forward into your next. God has a plan that is just not revealed yet. She started to cry and told me that walking was a last minute decision.

I believe that everything happens for a reason. Me meeting this lady, talking with her and praying with her was all designed by God. You never know who may need you or how your words will IMPACT someone's life. Today I want you to seek out God's word and be encouraged.

I would love to hear from you here at the blog. Send me an email, or leave a message in the comment section.

  1. Prayer is a very strong weapon we can have. When I feel bad, weak and hopeless, prayer is everything that I can do to composed myself and makes me decide a just judgement and decision.
