 I have been a military wife for 22 years and for the past 2 years I have become a stay at home mom...The transition was not easy at first. Having two steady incomes for a family of 5 is so important. Or so I thought!






 I learned that I not only had to change my shopping and spending habits, but I also had to change my way of thinking..... The first thing my husband Patrick and I did was sit down at take a real hard look at our finances. The good news is, we have never been materialistic people so our outlook looked promising.

Next we took a look at our savings and really broke down every scenario that could possibly happen. 




(THE REALITY IS THAT MOST FAMILIES LIVE PAYCHECK TO PAYCHECK). We are living in times when bargain shopping,
Cutting coupons and swapping babysitting is a reality in most homes....
