Tis the season to EXPLAIN GOD to our children.....




DO YOU TALK TO YOUR KIDS ABOUT GOD
This is the perfect season to explain God, our wonderful creator to our children. When my kids were younger I told them that God gave us His son, Jesus, because he loves us so much. It was not a quick lesson at all. The kids ages varied so we had to work out a language that worked for three very different little kids. 



I began by reading the Christmas story from the Bible. My three kids loved to hear that story over and over again. Some nights we had a power struggle between bible verses and The three Little Pigs (Smile)Through it all we found a healthy balance. The Christmas Story is a great place to start when you are trying to expose your kids to the word of God. Reading Children's Bible stories will help them know God, help them to begin a relationship with God and most of all teach them the TRUE MEANING OF CHRISTMAS. 



As their mother I have trusted God with all that happens in their precious lives. 



Now as we are approaching Christmas time, I am sitting here remembering our time together so many years ago. Our journey as a family makes me smile. Oh, father how I love my three babies. I love Elijah, Lyric and Patrick with all my heart and feel its my duty as their mother to teach them all the wonderful things about God.






My husband Patrick and I have taught our kids who God is by telling them who he is to us. Its easier to talk about something when you are passionate. 






So we started by teaching them the word. We did this by reading them bible verses each night.

    Reading Children's Bible stories will help your children know God, help them to begin a relationship with God and most of all teach them the TRUE MEANING OF CHRISTMAS.
