 ** NO ONE TOLD ME ABOUT THIS KIND OF LOVE **

  Recently our family was blessed with the birth of our first grandson. His name is Cameron and he is the most beautiful baby that I have ever seen. 

 The first time I got to hold him I cried, the first time I looked into his eyes I cried and every since he has taken his first breath, I have loved him beyond words.

 


 No one told me about this kind of love. I mean, having children is a wonderful experience and loving my kids is a wonderful experience....

 BUT, this grandson has introduced me to a new kind of love.

 There is something about grandchildren that melts your heart and changes you into a big teddy bear. How delightful it is to see this beautiful baby and know that I will have the opportunity to be a part of his growth.


 



 I never forget just how grateful I am that we have him and I will show him my love for him everyday....

    You always uplift me Lashon. Love going through this post and reading about your love for your beautiful grandson Cameron!! Despite the problems I am having with my daughter-in-law, the one thing that I’ve continued to be consistent about is showing love through kind deeds towards the same ones hurting me intentionally. I haven’t wanted to, but God instructs me to. And God used you Lashon with your blog. It’s extremely difficult, but I have to trust that God’s hand is on me and my circumstances.
