ARE YOU ONE OF THOSE PEOPLE WHO ALWAYS TRY TO GET YOUR POINT ACROSS?

Do you shout, take over the conversation and say any and everything without thinking? I am a little embarrassed to admit that I was guilty of this for such a long time....As we get older we learn how to treat people with love and kindness. Its important to use your words wisely and listen closely when someone else is talking....I have recently took my own advice and learned how to use my words wisely...

My oldest son Elijah is about to turn 23 so I am slowly learning that being quiet and to LISTEN  is really important...I was always so busy TELLING HIM what to do, BUT as a man he is doing things himself...Not really looking for his mom to tell him what to do all the time (SMILE)


NOW I AM LEARNING THAT LISTENING FIRST IS IMPORTANT.

AND then finding the RIGHT WORDS is also important...This has really helped me to think about things so differently! Thank you Father for teaching me how to listen..

Its true sometimes our words can either help build some ONE or break them..

                          ~ CHOOSE THE RIGHT WORDS ~

Our words have creative power. At times when I use to speak, it was done so rapidly that I did not give much thought to my words....That was a BIG MISTAKE!

NOW I have learned to STOP and THINK before I speak... God is faithful and he is just waiting for us to call upon Him!

Father, I pray this morning that you may cleanse my thoughts keep me always in your light. Please give me kind words, an attitude of faith, and expectancy so that my words will uplift and inspire everyone I come into contact with....
