To my daughter Lyric, This is not the time to shrink back in fear. Move forward in faith. Get up every morning knowing you are gifted! I’m so happy that this semester is almost over! It took every inch of me as a mother to pull my baby girl Lyric through this time. It was tough and each day I had to encourage my daughter to be strong and to stay FOCUSED. So happy that she is still standing and is one day closer to becoming a teacher. I guess now its time to plan strategically for next semester at FAMU.




I pray that my daughter Lyric will continue to FOCUS on her education, on her happiness and her goals. EVERYTHING else will fall into place. How did your kids do this semester in school? I would love to hear from you. Until then, I will be praying for you.

    My daughter is something special. when she has a lot of things on her plate, she tends to worry. I pray that as time passes she will learn to stress less and trust God more. Today I pray that my daughter Lyric will entrust any darkness or suffering she may be experiencing to the Lord in the sure and certain hope that He will lead her to His light and glory. Amen!
