Good morning and welcome back to my blog. I wanted to talk to you today about FEAR and ANXIETY. Many of us may suffer from it from time to time and most of us can handle it with no problem. But there are times when you have to visit the doctor or dentist and your fears surface and cause you undo problems. This is true for so many of us and is reflected in the mail that I have been receiving lately.

Recently I had to have a medical procedure completed. I will tell you this, I was not excited about it at all. I tried everything to get out of it but knew that to get better it needed to be done. So I sat in my favorite chair the night before and I talked to God. Yes, I talked to God and let him know what I was feeling. I gave all of my fears to him and immediately felt relaxed.

That talk was much needed because I needed to compose myself and get focused for the things ahead of me that next day. How about you? Do you go to God in prayer when you are faced with a hurdle? 

The day of the procedure was here!!

I got up as usual that Thursday morning and I headed out to the hospital. I remember seeing a beautiful sky, hearing birds chirping and feeling a new PEACE that I was longing for. That PEACE can only come from God and he knew what I needed and he supplied me with his love and carried me through that difficult day. He can do the same for you as well.

I wake up and I praise his name. I get ready for bed and I praise his name and I am grateful for everything BOTH good and bad that I have been through.
