 Good morning and welcome back to my blog. For those of you joining me for the first time, Let me explain the topic for today. "A welcome surprise from my FAVORITE Daughter Lyric!" Well, She is my favorite daughter because she is my ONLY daughter. (Smile)

My daughter popped up today here in Jacksonville. I was sitting on the couch reading my bible and heard a key in the door. OK so its only me and my son Patrick living here. Now, If I am right here and Patrick is upstairs sleeping, Who could possibly be coming through my front door? (Smile) It was my daughter Lyric. She scared me half to death. I knew she was coming to Jacksonville, but not for another week. She wanted to surprise me. I think she did a good job Don't you?

 She is such a bright light and when she comes here to see me, I lose myself in her beautiful smile. I am so happy to see her. Our time on this planet is so short so I really cherish these times when she is here to see me. I treasure each minute and look forward to our Starbucks dates and our lunch dates. She is amazing and when she shows up we have so much to talk about. I love my kids and when they come to see me I feel so blessed that they want to spend time with me. I am grateful to God that our relationship has grown and that we still have such a close and loving relationship.

    I still can nit believe that my baby girl is 20 years old. I miss her so much when she goes away to college. Her returns although shorter and shorter, are the light of my day.
