MY CRAZY LIFE BLOG 2018
I had a really busy day. Lots of running around with my son Elijah. He lost his backpack with all of his important stuff including his identification. I remember yelling at first telling him that he needed to be more responsible. I stopped quickly and remembered that I had been praying to God about my son. Praying to him asking him how to engage more patiently with my oldest son. It was then that I stepped back and let God lead me. I truly needed to be reminded that even though I didn't "feel" God at that very moment, It didn't mean that he was not there working it all out. Today I found myself in a place that I had prayed about so often. I started to feel discouraged and start to doubt. It was at that very moment that I prayed again. This time asking God to reveal to me all the things that I STILL needed to learn. I am reminded today and everyday that I have to stay in preparation in my relationship with my son Elijah and encourage him as well to draw nearer to God. We have been working together on our mother and son relationship. It is a constant work in progress and we both are committed to make things even better. I started by apologizing to him for raising my voice. We both prayed and vowed to make our relationship better. Today was starting to look a lot better. (smile)

On days like today, My own faith gets tested. It is during times like this that I have to listen even closer to hear God's word. What about you? Have you felt any opposition? The opposition can sometimes be overwhelming and often you feel as though you are not making headway.

But God, makes a way where there is no way. It is clear in these moments that His hands are in the mix of things and he brings it all together. It is he who steps in and immediately creates solutions. YES, solutions. Practical and loving solutions. Praise God, He is good all the time. We are character building, while running this race we call life. That is why you have to slow down long enough to realize that, Yes you are STILL learning. Each day my relationship with my son grows closer. We both are strengthened through endurance and have slowly become victorious. I thank you for reading my blog today. Praying that my words will help you today and everyday. God bless you.
