No matter how educated, rich, talented or famous you THINK you are, how you love and treat your children is ultimately what will tell who you really are. As a single parent, I hope to always be present and involved in all three of my kids life. It is such a shame that divorce tears a family apart. No matter their age our kids should always be our main priority. Praying that there is hope that any children facing this dilemma will emerge better than before. It is through prayer that we can lift up our children when they need us. Rest assured that God will restore the years that they were without their fathers.

If you have children that do not live in your home, You have to make a choice: Give up on being a part of their life OR give it all you've got! As the parent that is with the children each day it is imperative that you constantly remind your child that it is not their fault. Show them love, give them attention and lots of your time. Some kids will internalize the divorce and will blame themselves. I never want their father's choices to keep them from the abundant life that God has planned for them. I aim to spend the rest of my life loving and spending time with my kids and praising God in the process. It is our job as their parents to embrace every moment with our children. I tell you, they are a gift from God.

Our children grow up so fast and you really have to cease each and every moment. I love my three kids so much. Writing this blog post takes me back to my time with them as babies. I miss holding them in my arms sometimes. (Smile) I have so many good memories to hold on to and I am grateful for that. I have a daughter away at college. A son that lives all the way in Atlanta and now my baby leaves for college in a matter of days. Father God, What I would give to have more time with each of them (Smile) God is good and faithful and he knows our heart as their parents.

To all of you parents, making the choice to be PRESENT...Enjoy the journey with your kids. Blessings to each of you parents. Your kids will be just fine. Keep on loving them because Its your unconditional love and encouragement that will give them the tools they need and the freedom to follow their God given path. And whatever their paths may be, Each of your kids will surely know that their Mama will be cheering them on every step of the way!
