It was my first encounter with this hospital and I did not know what to expect. I had to spend two weeks there and It was such a breathe of fresh air. Let me be the first to tell you that this  VA Hospital is awesome. I had my own room and was treated with dignity and respect in every area. I was really scared being far away from home but the staff was phenomenal and the place runs so well. I was so impressed how the staff kept saying "Thank you for your Service" and how everyone enjoyed their job. What a blessing to be surrounded by so many people with smiles and compassion. MY ...

Today I wanted to talk about my youngest son Patrick. As you know he just finished the summer program at FSU and he is now headed back to Tallahassee. I am so excited and proud. I can not help but laugh (Smile) So now he is heading back to college next week. Most people would be sad but I am excited for him and all of the wonderful things that he is going to learn in this new chapter. I am forever grateful!  Today I proclaim victory over my circumstances. Whether good or bad, I know my pain serves a purpose and I am being strengthened and my character is also being stretched so that I can be who God has called me to be. I truly believe everything is working together for my good. I sit here this morning and I Thank you for another day. God I ask that my spirit be renewed. I’m not meant to live in fear, but in complete trust that You are in control of everything. May I remind myself daily that You are my portion father.
