Good morning all and welcome back to blog. Today I just wanted to give you progress on my recovery and to take a moment to praise all three of my kids for giving me the strength that I needed each day.

Having a great few weeks since I got out of the hospital. I have not seen my oldest child in a while. My oldest son Elijah is still in Atlanta. I have talked with him many times on the phone since I got out. My daughter Lyric came down from college for a couple of days. I had the best of time with her and her boyfriend. My youngest Patrick was also back for a couple of days. Today I am feeling very blessed to have three good kids who are growing into great people. I had a different childhood than that of my kids but I try to love them and see them as much as possible.

I can only speak for myself, but when I was younger I didn't know anything about the sacrifices my parents made for me. I just wanted things and I wanted them right now. Now that I am getting older (Smile) I understand their sacrifices and how they did everything they could to make us feel loved. Now that I have three kids of my own it all makes sense. I am a proud parent to my kids. It is such a great job to be their mother. My kids mean the world to me and will always be proud of them. I make no apologies for being a STRONG mother for my three children!

I am always trying to improve and make adjustments. A lesson I try to repeat to my kids is that they will never be fulfilled unless they achieve their goals. I'm so proud of my three kids and collectively we may not have a lot, but we always have one another. I am so thankful that my kids are so understanding and forgiving. They love me in spite of it all. I am writing this post today to encourage other single mothers who are still pushing their children, dreams are achievable. I am so proud of my three kids and I will always support their dreams.
