Good morning and welcome back here to my blog. So glad that you took the time to join me here once again. I wanted to take a moment to say...Take care of yourself. Tomorrow is not promised and you only have one body. As mother's we tend to take care of everyone in our household and then take care of ourselves at the absolute last moment. That is what happened again in November. I was exhausted and I was so run down that I did not realize how bad my health was becoming.

Having surgery is no fun and having to spend all of that time laying in the hospital was awful. For those of you that follow my blog, you know that I have TYPE 2 Diabetes and that I take insulin injections daily. One of my biggest problems was getting my levels in order. It was a terrible time because I was not eating the proper foods and my sugar levels were crazy. My doctor decided it was best if I spend some time in the hospital and get some things checked out. Later I had to have surgery as well. I was not happy at all. Prayer helped me to cope and I was in such great hands at the hospital. I feel so blessed.

I am a person that loves to eat and I have tried over the years to eat what I wanted, and not what I should be eating. This hospital stay changed my whole perspective and I am determined to eat better and take care of myself better.

If you are one of those people that put everyone else before yourself, I ENCOURAGE you this morning to stop for a moment and just be still. Take care of yourself so that you will not end up in a hospital bed eating horrible food (smile)
