Good morning and welcome back to my blog. So grateful that you were able to join me here once again. I want to talk to you today about starting a fresh new year. How has this year been for you so far? As I sit back and reflect on this past year I am happy and thankful for all that God has done for me. God has lifted me and gave me the strength to expand my horizons. I wrote extensively, traveled to new places and I was able to meet new and amazing people that really encouraged my heart. This has been a year full of amazing ups and devastating downs but through it all God was right there for me.

As 2019 begins, I am thankful for all that I have been through. I thank God for His grace that fueled and empowered me to do all these wonderful things. Though I smiled and rejoiced through the difficult times, I certainly wasn’t smiling because I was without pain. Even through the hospital stays and limitations that came with them, I still smiled. I was doing what I always do, I was being obedient to God. Being obedient to God is deeply rewarding. What a blessing it has been to exchange my pain and my comfort for His glory. I don’t know what 2019 holds for you and I. I simply know that I am open to doing whatever God says. I pray that you will too.
