Happy Mother's Day to myself, my mom, my grandmother, my sisters and all of the beautiful mothers out there! I feel like I am so blessed and privileged to be an a mom to my three kids, Lyric, Elijah and Patrick. They give me love and joy on a daily basis.

The older I get, the more I believe in taking this day seriously. It's not a day to be thrown together. It's a day to really reward mothers for their never ending day to day duties that in most times go unnoticed through the year. I am grateful for all of the things my mother and my grandmother taught me. They both sacrificed so much so that we could have a better life and I thank you!

This is such a bittersweet day because I miss them both but I celebrate all of the things that they did in life. Lord knows that I could never repay them for all that they have done for me! My mother was my rock..the absolute best wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt, friend and chef (Smile)

My grandmother was phenomenal. One of a kind. She could do anything! She was the most giving person in the world. That beautiful woman who is now an angel, was the epitome of a loving and God fearing woman! She was a mom to so many people! She always supported me and she always made me feel love. To all of you I want you to know that I love you, I thank you, and I appreciate you, on this Mother's Day and every day!
