It has been raining all weekend here in Guantanamo Bay Cuba... not much to cheer about. But I am grateful this morning for my family. Often times we forget that the simple things are what gives us the most joy. Because of the rain, our family spent the whole weekend together. All outdoor plans were cancelled and we found things to do as a FAMILY!! So I say to you today.....Good morning ...And lets have a stress free day and   BE OF GOOD CHEER. I prayed this morning for God to give me the strength that I need to continue to do the work that he has called me to do here in Guantanamo Bay Cuba.... Regardless of their age, find ways to spend time with your kids   I have 3 children. I have a son that is 22 and he no longer lives at home with us. Arranging alone time with him is like pulling teeth. (Smile) I also have a 17 year old daughter that is about to leave soon for college. She loves me enough and tries to fit me in between going to the mall and talking on her cellphone. (Smile) Our youngest son Patrick is now 15 and enjoys lots of things. Getting him to spend time with his mama is tough. If it involves PlayStation 4, trumpets or Jazz, its cool. First of all, Mothers are working hard everyday both at work and at the house. Their cellphone is necessary  to keep on top of all that they have to do. I have three kids form age 13 to 20 so I understand the need for a cellphone....I just want parents to organize their time in a way that their children will have the full benefit of their attention....
