IS THAT PHONE CALL REALLY THAT IMPORTANT?

First of all, Mothers are working hard everyday both at work and at the house. Their cellphone is necessary to keep on top of all that they have to do. I have three kids form age 13 to 20 so I understand the need for a cellphone....I just want parents to organize their time in a way that their children will have the full benefit of their attention....

TIME WITH OUR KIDS IS SO PRECIOUS
TIME WITH OUR KIDS IS SO PRECIOUS
TIME WITH OUR KIDS IS SO PRECIOUS

Every weekend I spend time with my kids whether its a board game or playing WII. As they are getting older I have very little time with them. I try to spend EVERY MINUTE I can with Patrick and Lyric...I have always put my three children first in my life. This is a decision that my husband and I have never changed.

I WANT YOU TO TURN OFF YOUR CELL PHONE JUST FOR A MOMENT...

~ OUR CHILDREN COME FIRST ~

Instead of saying "not right now", stop and SPEND TIME with your kids... Is that email or text message going to be any different if you read it AFTER the kids are sleeping?

TRUST ME our children will look back and remember the day you stopped what you were doing and gave them your

  1. I just want to scream when I see mothers texting the ENTIRE GAME...I mean REALLY???? What could be that important.

  2. Common Sense. If your kid is out there busting their butt playing a sport, the least you can do is pay attention and ACT like you care!!!

  3. @Jennifer..I have learned that some people have a different value system. We may not always agree though. I myself make it a point to turn my phone off when the kids are at sports. I do not even want a text to distract me. Now, in the past I was guilty of always texting on my blackberry. Let's just say, I learned a valuable lesson. I adjusted my behavior and now I am trying hard to be better. Thank you for discussing this topic with me Jennifer. God Bless.
