Good morning and thanks for stopping by my blog today. As you all know I read lots and lots of books. I am so happy to share with you today a great children's book that I absolutely love.

The name of this book is "Curious Critters."

It was a joy to read this book and then later read it to my grandson. I hope that this review will encourage you to pick up a copy today...

I LOVE READING
GOOD BOOKS TO
MY GRANDSON

http://mycrazylifeasanavywife.blogspot.com/

This book is filled with amazing illustrations and easy to read descriptions. I loved being able to show my grandson all of these marine critters. He laughed and he reached repeatedly for the pictures. He was intensely involved in every page. This is what I really love and books like this have helped me so much when my grandson comes to visit his grandma. I love the way this book helped to stimulated his young imagination and you know what? He was deeply involved in every aspect of the story.

God has blessed me with some WONDERFUL people in my life!

MY CRAZY LIFE BLOG
BY LASHON CAMPBELL

God has blessed me with WONDERFUL friends

Have you ever stopped for a moment and said a thank you to God for all the wonderful people that he has placed in your life. I truly believe that you should. At least remind yourself of these blessings as often as possible. God has really blessed me to know some WONDERFUL people in my life.

One of the GREATEST joys I have encountered in my military travels has been relationships that I have developed with friends. Most of the people who are in my life are military wives and they are all awesome in their own way. They have each touched my life and made it better in such a fantastic way. I really do mean that. I have such great memories of them.

Friendships of any kind are a gift from God. Having a friend that understands you and loves you makes your heart feel so full and their love is simply incomparable in my mind. I spend a lot of time sharing with my friends and letting them know just how important they ar…

A PROUD wife reflects on the MASTER CHIEF PINNING CEREMONY OF her husband CMC PATRICK CAMPBELL

Originally posted May 4, 2011

Congratulations to my husband Patrick Campbell who has just been promoted to E-9 a Master Chief Petty Officer in the United States Navy.

No words can express the love and admiration that I feel for him right now. I remember back in 2005 when I pinned his Chief anchors on, It was a special time for us as a family..….. When he was promoted to Senior Chief I cried as I thought of his career and his spiritual victories. Now in 2011, my heart beats a different beat as I will soon see my husband receive his new anchors for Master Chief.

                                  THE BEAUTIFUL CAKE

Over the years I have watched him slowly preparing for this day. The long hours and dedication has lead him into this promotion. I know that becoming a Master chief is only the beginning and this promotion will only bring out a new fire that I have seen so many times in the past…He craves it and silently he enjoys the challenge.

THAT'S MY HUSBAND THE NEW MASTER CHIEF

Happy First birthday to the BEST GRANDSON ever....

I NEVER KNEW HOW MUCH LOVE MY HEART WOULD HOLD, UNTIL I BECAME A GRANDMOTHER FOR THE FIRST TIME....

Our family has been BLESSED with a NEW grandson. His name is Cameron and he is the most beautiful baby in the world. He has a smile that melts your heart and a laugh that is contagious. The first time I laid eyes on him, I loved him. I never knew how much love my heart could hold before our grandson was born.

We are about to celebrate his first birthday and we are excited about the AMAZING future for the newest member of the Campbell family. Look at that face....
I hold him in my arms and I remember when my own kids were small and full of wonder. Grand kids are such a blessing and I plan on spending as much time as I can spoiling this beautiful baby (Smile)

THIS WAS A PERFECT MOMENT IN TIME

We love our kids and we hold them close to our hearts, but these grand kids tug a little harder and they make you forget how to say no (Smile) Where is my brain today? Is that a good thing or am I just …

A LETTER TO MY HUSBAND ON OUR WEDDING ANNIVERSARY

                      MY DEAREST PATRICK:

When I first met you 19 years ago Patrick, I never imagined the journey we would take as man and wife. I never knew there would be so many COMPLICATED layers to being married... I never experienced this level of love until I married you Patrick. Our relationship has been far from perfect…And I know that we both have strong heads on our shoulder....But through all these years we have continuously put GOD first in our marriage.

HE GAVE ME HIS HEART

I remember the first time I laid eyes on you, the first date, the birth of our children, joining church and living this "AMERICAN DREAM"..... One thing I do know is that GOD must have a sense of humor. Look at us, living this Navy adventure, two imperfect people….A girl from the west side of Chicago who loves Southern cooking marries a Chef from Durham North Carolina..(SMILE) We’re complementary.... I wouldn't trade any of the last nineteen years for anything Patrick. I am so proud to call …

I LOVE MY DAUGHTER LYRIC

She has a striking personality and I have so much RESPECT for my daughter and her individuality.

We have taught her to never be afraid to ask us any questions and to ALWAYS examine her own behavior and measure it up against God's word.

What a glorious thing to watch her grow and develop. Now as a teenager she is incorpo…
