Call on his name. Help is on the way!

LASHON CAMPBELL

Received a email this morning that touched my heart. A navy wife missing her husband and feeling alone. I shared my response to her this morning here on the blog hoping that someone who needs to read it will. If you are feeling any signs of depression, feelings of hopelessness or emptiness, I encourage you to seek help from family, church and prayer.

Good Morning,

I read your email and first of all I want you to know that you are not alone countless of military wives are missing their deployed spouses. It’s normal to miss their presence. You must stay strong during this time not only for yourself, but also for your husband. I assure you that he wants to be home with you yet his commitment to the military has landed him so far away from you.
It is imperative that you keep busy at home with family and friends. You must also write letters to stay connected. You have to Keep your faith during these deployments. I know that some days are worse than others but I do know that you will get through this. You have to believe that and believe in the vows that you made. Pray each day and Hold on to your faith. Faith isn't for the easy days. Faith is for days like today when everything is broken and you feel hopeless. You have to hold on to him.
In God's presence your anxiety will melt away, your spirits will lift and your soul will be restored. No more sadness and no more feelings of depression. The problems you think you have right now may seem big to you, God’s love for you is bigger than anything.
No matter what you are facing, call on His Name and help is on the way! Take a minute today to read Psalm 121:1-2

God Bless,
