I am Lashon Campbell. I kept my married name. I was born Lashon Chandler in Chicago Illinois. I have two sisters and three grown children. My life is simple yet peaceful. I feel full because I have everything that I need.
I am so happy NOW! I surrendered my life over to HIM. He turned my mess into a beautiful message. Was given a second chance at life. Thank you Jesus. This is my story.
I’m a mom of three kids, Elijah, Lyric and Patrick. I’m so proud of each of my kids. Each one of them loves the Lord and bring such joy into my life. My one and only daughter is Lyric and she is a teacher in Tallahassee. My oldest son Elijah works for golden Corral and in his spare time he likes to rap. My youngest son Patrick is a full time Musician. I have a wonderful and full life. I sometimes have the opportunity to speak to people and uplift and encourage. I absolutely love my life, my family and all of you. Some days are extremely hectic and I can barely breathe BUT I love what I do. I love getting feedback from my readers. I get wonderful emails and texts and every now and then I get the old snail mail. (Love snail mail) I feel so grateful. I really do.

But when I’m home, I’m home. Family, to me, is everything. Other than blogging and my social Media accounts, I spend my spare time at thrift stores, crafting and seeing my friends. I may not have all the answers but what I do know is that I have never been this happy. I have little money but I assure you that I am the richest person in the world. I have EVERYTHING that I need right here at this place. Wow, to be loved like this from my family and friends is the peace that I searched for all my life. Thank you father because I have finally found that PEACE. Waking up each day surrounded by my kids and the love of God is AMAZING! One thing that I know for sure is, My life doesn’t have to be perfect to be wonderful. I have joy each morning when I get to live another day. I have joy when my youngest son Patrick calls just to say he loves me. I have joy when I read text messages from my daughter or have those mother/daughter conversations. I have joy when I get those occasional hugs from my son Elijah. These are the things most important to me. Thank you for sharing my life here at the blog and on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter. As you stop by each day and you share my life and browse through the pics, I pray that you will find inspiration, encouragement and a little bit of laughter from my family to yours. I pray that you are sharing wonderful memories with your family and friends. I would love to hear from you. Until then, I will be praying for you.
