Divorce can DESTROY a family... If you allow it too. Praying that for the sake of your children, You will find ways to say connected to your former spouse.

These last couple of years have not exactly been easy for me or for my three kids. But, God ALWAYS gave me the strength I needed to rise above all the craziness of our family falling apart. My husband Patrick and I divorced. Yes, we have divorced. There are still many of you that still send me messages in disbelief.

I have NEVER and will never post degrading and unproductive posts about the man I once shared my life with. I find that negativity NEVER makes things better only worse. How can we effectively parent together when we can't stay connected for the sake of our children?
CAMPBELL FAMILY 
 Today I write these words in hopes that other divorced families can focus on the good things their marriage had, instead of the raw pain. We can not and will not dwell on that here at the blog. Instead I have decided to focus on our beautiful children that we have TOGETHER. The sheer magnitude of what we created together as husband and wife still leaves me in awe. To have these three beautiful children is just the most incredible feeling. I can not describe how full my heart is. That JOY supersedes any bad feelings that I once harbored.

In a world of brokenness, God redeems and restores. I pray that God will make a way for those of you who may need some encouragement and still can't find a way to stay connected. The divorce is over but your roles as parents will always continue. Remember that! Its time to make all things new and end all of these rough days. It is time to be uplifted and to transcend to a much higher, happier place. Start today praying for your former spouse and that the divisions that developed will turn into lasting connections.







I pray that each of you are able to draw near to Jesus and be encouraged in your new role. God bless you and keep you as you grow in His grace and understanding.
